Cody Schrier helps Team USA win Tournament Title

Saddleback School of Baseball student, Cody Schrier, batted .360 (9-of-25) with three doubles and a home run for the Americans, who defeated Chinese Taipei, 7-2, in Sunday’s championship game in front of a sold-out crowd of 11,000 at Tainan Stadium at the WBSC U12 World Cup.

In the championship game, the Trabuco Canyon Little League All-Star hit a key double that ignited a 4-run rally and erased a 2-0 deficit for the U.S.

We are very proud of Cody!

Functional Strength Training Classes Starting

Functional strength and weighted ball classes at our RSM facility will begin Monday, Sept 8th.

Monday’s 7:30-8:30 & Thursday’s 7:30-8:30
Cost- 300.00 per month / $37.50 per class

Class sizes are limited and already filling up!

Glenn Zielinski is certified by the National Pitching Association.

Congratulations to Alum Connor Spencer on winning batting title!

Saddleback School of Baseball alum, Connor Spencer won the New York-Penn minor league’s batting title, finishing with a .364 batting average, 44 points better than the runner-up. Connor plays for the Staten Island Yankees (NYY). See our alumni page for more information.

Congratulations to Alum Connor Spencer

First baseman Connor Spencer was selected in the eighth round by the New York Yankees on the second day of the 2014 Major League Draft.

Spencer, an All-Big West first-team choice has been the team’s top hitter. Batting a team-high .366, Spencer also leads UCI in hits (86), RBI (44) and on-base percentage (.455). He is second among the Anteater starts with 15 doubles, five triples and 36 runs scored.

A two-time Big West Player of the Week, Spencer was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Corvallis Regional after batting .400 (6 for 15) with five RBI and five runs scored.

OC Tribe Baseball Club Wins 5

The OC Tribe baseball club recently played in the Irvine Memorial Day Tournament (which included a total of 230 teams). The boys went a combined 5 wins and 1 loss to win the 13U Flight 2 Championship. Our baseball club belongs to the Saddleback School of Baseball, located in Rancho Santa Margarit. The school is operated under the leadership of Glenn Zielinski. Our boys represent and live in the cities of Rancho Santa Margarita, Dove Canyon, Robinson Ranch, and Coto de Caza.
